The maiden edition of ‘Accra’s Three Tastiest Days’ involved over 30 food and drink vendors, and hundreds of Ghanaians between 18 and 20 December 2015, at the Efua Sutherland Children’s Park.
‘Foodies’ and families alike were treated to a host of fun activities, including:
- The Onga Cooking Competition, featuring five of Ghana’s rising culinary stars. Angela Agbenyezi, currently of Agrobeso Restaurant, was the ‘Mama Onga’ for the day, taking the lead with a delicious dish of boiled yam and agushi [melon seeds] stew.
- In The Makin’ – a music and talent showcase which was graced with the likes of rapper and producer, Jayso, and Bhim Nation’s limit. R&B singer Qwodjo was the undisputed winner of the event, and is set to release a couple of singles in the near future.
- Food Challenges – Foodies took on some of the biggest, spiciest and sweetest meals against each other and the clock!
- Children’s Zone – the youngsters were also not left out.
